Simultaneous Interpretation Camp★

I will introduce about the contents of Simultaneous Interpretation Camp. This camp is carried our for summer vacation in Aichikenseinennoie. It is a four-day trip.

The first day of the camp, the participants will introduce themselves. Then, they practice shadowing. After they took a bath, there is a free time. Some people will talk to each other. The other people will study by themselves. There is a party to make friends at night. The participants enjoy this party very much.

The second day and third day, they practice shadowing, listening, interpretation and note taking.

The forth day, they do vocabulary and a total review.

This camp is very useful to learn interpretation, so I recommend that you participate in this camp.
There are so many camp systems in NUFS such as Freshman Camp, Simultaneous Interpretation Camp and English Intensive Camp. Every camp is useful to learn English, so you should participate in the camp.

Ryokan☆

First, when we arrived at Ryokan, we are served Wagashi. It is a Japanese cake. This is served as relaxation at the time of the arrival. In addition, there are warm services by the waitresses.

Second, the restroom is different from foreign countries, but there are more Western style restrooms than Japanese style restrooms. Therefore, you don’t need to worry about it. However, you have to change your slippers when you enter the restroom.

Next, Japanese people don’t have a custom that they give a tip to the waitress, so you don’t need to give a tip. If you are deeply grateful to the waitress, you may give a tip to her.

Yabusame Matsuri★

I will introduce location, date, map, the way to go and Yabusame Matsuri of other prefectures.

This Yabusame Matsuri is performed in Yamakitachou, Kanagawa prefecture. It is performed every year on Culture Day. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Yamakita station. You can go by JR Gotenba Line to Yamakita station.

Yabusame Matsuri is performed in the other prefectures.

I will introduce Shijyukusyo Shrine in Kagoshima prefecture. Yabusame is performed to pray for national peace and security and grow grains like rice. Then, the archer is the beginner and changes every year.

Next, I will introduce Komuroasama Shrine in Yamanashi prefecture. Yabusame is performed to pray that a fight and a fire are not caused.

Finally, I will introduce Tadotaisha in Mie prefecture. Yabusame is performed to pray grow grains like rice. Then, the shot mark is distributed to people as a mascot.

The Royal Exhibition Building★

I will introduce location, map, cost and the way to go.



First, the Royal Exhibition Building is located the Nicholson St of Melbourne. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the center of the Melbourne city. You can go to corner of Nicholson and Gertrude Streets with Tram 86 or 96. Also, you can go to Victoria Parade with Free City Circle Tram. There is the other way to go. If you are going to go by car, please use Google map application to obtain travelling direction.

Next, there is the Guided tour. If you want to enter the building, you must take part in this tour. The participation fee is 4 dollars for adults and 2 dollars for children. You need to book this tour in advance. Please take part in this tour.

Little World☆

I'll talk about European countries. We can wear the traditional clothes of Paris, Germany, France, and Italy. It cost about 300 yen or 500 yen. It is very cheap!!! All clothes are very cute. This is able to enjoy with your family.

In addition, we can eat the dishes of each country in the shops. There are a lot of appetizing things such as tart, cheese and pasta. We can seldom eat these foods in Japan. So please eat these dishes.

Then we can experience the PETANQUE that is French traditional sports. PETANQUE is very enjoyable sports. If you go to a Little World, experience it.

Recommendation: This movie is very famous all the world. Titanic is the Ship of Dreams. On the night of 14 April 1912, Titanic hit an iceberg and sank. The sinking resulted in the deaths of　1,517 people. It was a great shock to many people. This is very romantic love story so I like TITANIC.
